Radicals at Christmas: John F Kennedy Christmas cards

US president John Fitzgerald “Jack” Kennedy is remembered as much for international tensions and his untimely assassination in 1963 as for his peace-making, but it has subsequently transpired that he worked hard to avert conflict and resisted pressure from his hawks to declare all-out war against Cuba. The remarks on this card were made at the Pageant of Peace Ceremonies (the lighting of the Washington National Community Christmas tree) in 1962. It's a message worth reminding ourselves and others of before we press any buttons we shouldn't...

Specifications: Pack of 8 cards, with matching envelopes made of recycled paper. The cards are printed on FSC certified board which is manufactured from fibre sourced from sustainably managed Swedish forests, the most environmentally friendly option available (we don't use recycled board because that has to be bleached with harmful chemicals). The cards measure approx 105mm x 148mm (A6) and envelopes measure approx 162mm x 114mm (C6). Message inside: Seasons Greetings.
