William Morris Strawberry Thief pot stand

A William Morris pot stand with a difference!

William Morris (1834 - 1896) was an English textile designer poet novelist & translator who played a significant role in propagating the early socialist movement in Britain. With this pot stand we have recreated one of Morris's classic designs "The Strawberry Thief" with a quotation from his essay 'Useful Work versus Useless Toil', one of many in which he set out his radical ideas.

Specifications: Melamine pot stand with a hardboard base and durable cork backing. Heat resistant to 145 degrees centigrade as well as being scratch and stain resistant. Dimensions 160 x 160 x 6mm.
